Mind Wizards founder says it also has knock-on effect to parents
The number of children on the Isle of Man who have concerns and challenges around anxiety has increased.
That's according to a local mother who runs 'Mind Wizards' workshops for youngsters, parents and carers on how to manage anxiety levels day-to-day.
The courses are designed to 'work magic on little minds' and teach children practical skills for managing negative thoughts, feelings and emotions.
Gemma Sharp says changes in a child's mental wellbeing can have a knock-on effect for everyone.
She believes the ongoing Covid-19 situation is a key factor in higher anxiety levels, at present, as well as recent disruption in schools:
