Chief constable's annual report highlights rise
The chief constable says people seem more prepared to come forward and report sexual offences these days, particularly ones which happened many years ago.
Gary Roberts' annual report goes before Tynwald this coming week.
He appeared live on Sunday Opinion on Manx Radio this lunchtime to cover many of the issues he raises within it.
Among those were historical sex offences:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
