Five declare interest, more expected
The names of three more potential candidates for the Legislative Council have been released, ahead of a shake-up of the chamber next month.
Lawyer Dawn Joughin, the Office of Fair Trading's Kate Lord-Brennan, and banker Juan Kelly have all been put forward by MHKs to compete for five vacant positions in the parliament's upper house.
They join other declared nominees, the incumbent Jayne Poole-Wilson and newcomer John Skinner, on the ballot paper.
The elections take place on 12 March.
