Urging people to protect 'freedom' of motorists
Motorists are being urged to protect their 'freedom' to travel around the Island.
The Federation of Manx Motor Vehicle Clubs – which claims to represent more than 3,000 motorists – has described government's Active Travel Strategy as a 'ludicrous policy'.
It says very few people know the contents of the strategy and, ahead of this week's General Election, the group is calling on voters to quiz prospective MHKs on it.
Secretary Tony Nichols says people have a choice to use their voice:
Manx Radio contacted government for a response - it declined to comment.
