Bikers currently unable to use majority of bays
Motorcycle parking restrictions on Douglas promenade are being reviewed.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed in response to a Freedom of Information request submitted by Manx Radio that bikers are currently only able to park in designated motorcycle bays, but that this is being looked at.
Currently, only cars and light vans can use the majority of bays on the prom, subject to time restrictions.
More than 200 tickets for parking offences have been issued on Douglas promenade in 2021.
