Roads closed due to poor weather conditions

Police urge necessary travel only

Police are urging people to only travel if absolutely necessary - there's been some road closures due to the snowy conditions.

The Mountain Road has been closed until further notice.

UPDATE: Whitebridge Road in Onchan has now reopened following the earlier collision.

Meanwhile, IOM Transport is warning there could be delays to bus services around the Douglas and Onchan areas because of the snowy conditions.

Buses are currently unable to serve Ballachrink, Birch Hill and Royal Avenue (uphill only).
