Ramsey Hairpin to Bungalow shut after culvert collapse
The Mountain Road is now staying closed between the Hairpin and the Bungalow until Sunday (18 February).
A team from the Department of Infrastructure has been carrying out emergency repairs on a collapsed culvert since this afternoon.
It was originally hoped the road would reopen at 8pm tonight, but it now says the road will be re-opened by 6pm Sunday evening.
DOI officers were called to the Mountain Road on Wednesday to investigate a 'small depression' in the road surface.
