Teams focussing on salting lower routes
The Mountain Road is set to stay closed between Ramsey and the Creg Ny Baa until midday tomorrow (6 January).
The Department of Infrastructure will reassess the situation in the morning.
Meanwhile, it says teams are focusing on salting main routes at lower level such as bus routes, access routes to schools and medical facilities, together with other routes that are reported to be in a 'problematic' condition.
