Nile Rodgers and Chic booked for Villa Marina Royal Hall

One of music's most iconic and enduring forces, Nile Rodgers, is to perform on the Isle of Man with Chic, the group he co-founded.

Nile Rodgers and Chic will bring their legendary sound to the Villa Marina's Royal Hall on 23 September.

Nile Rodgers' productions for David Bowie, Madonna, Duran Duran and Daft Punk have sold over 750 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide.

Tickets priced at £88 (plus 5% booking fee) can be purchased online at villagaiety.com or in person at the Villa Marina or Welcome Centre, and are limited to four per transaction.

Audiences can expect an unforgettable evening celebrating one of the most influential figures in modern music, featuring timeless classics spanning his career.

Alongside legendary bassist Bernard Edwards, he created "Le Freak," the biggest-selling single in Atlantic Records history, and "Good Times," which laid the very DNA for hip-hop itself, and gave the world enduring anthems including "We Are Family" for Sister Sledge and "I'm Coming Out" for Diana Ross.
