QEII High School in Peel is celebrating after taking first prize in the One World Charity Challenge final at the Manx Museum last night (Tuesday).
Their presentation, entitled 'Send a Cow', pipped one by the Isle of Man College about the Grace Third World Fund by less than a point, to secure the Frances Davison Cup.
Six teams staged presentations in front of a panel of judges and an audience of around 200 and, because the scores were so close, the top two were given cheques for the same amount.
They each have £2,200 to hand over to their chosen charities.
A total pool of £21,000 will go to charities, funded by the Isle of Man Overseas Aid Committee and the H and S Davidson Trust.
