Union confirms it's engaged in talks, but walkouts are still planned
A teaching union says its members are still due to take part in strike action next week.
The NASUWT called off the fourth of six days of planned walkouts last month in order to allow further talks to take place.
However, the union has confirmed to Manx Radio that while it is engaged in talks with the government, action remains scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday next week.
The strikes are in response to a dispute over pay and conditions for Manx teachers.
