Education Minister discusses progress with replacement school project
The education minister says any replacement Castle Rushen High School needs to be 'futureproof'.
In the House of Keys yesterday, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse pushed Julie Edge for an update on that plan.
Specifically: 'What progress was made at the meeting about this project which took place on Monday, 23 October?'
The current building has been described not being fit for purpose, but it's feared work won't start on the new site for years.
Manx Radio's Phil Gawne caught up with the minister afterwards, and asked if her department had put the project on the back-burner:
