That's the belief of Ayre and Michael MHK Alfred Cannan.
Mr Cannan was unsuccessful in his bid to be Chief Minister, with the top job going to Howard Quayle.
He says as the dust settles, a framework now needs to be rapidly put in place to get the Island back on track.
