
The Health Minister says new GP surgeries will be located in the north and west of the Island because of pressing demand in the surrounding communities.
Eddie Teare confirmed during Tynwald they would be built at Jurby and Peel, a move which may prove unpopular with Kirk Michael's residents.
Mr Teare (pictured) said finances had been a major factor in the decision and there was a greater need for a new facility further north:
