New homes could be built in Jurby

Permission sought for new estate off Bretney Road

23 new homes could be built in Jurby if planning is given the green light.

Hartford Homes wants to create a new estate on land at Ballagaraghyn Farm.

The developer is proposing a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties - six would be classed be affordable housing.

Landscaping work would be included as well as nearly 2,900 square metres of open public space.

A new road would be created to connect the development to nearby Bretney Road and improvements carried out to footpaths to allow access to neighbouring areas.

The application is pending consideration.
