Households in Peel are receiving a questionnaire in the post, asking if they would like to see a new 40-bedroom hotel and aprtment complex built in the town.
Commissioners want to guage the views of local residents on plans to transform a derelict plot of land at the far end of the Promenade - the old swimming pool site.
The questionnaire also asks people what extra facilities they'd like to see in Peel - if the land is sold for development.
