
Jon Callister has been appointed acting chief executive of the Department of Tourism and Leisure.
He will take up the post on June 29.
Mr Callister joined the Civil Service in 1989 and worked in the Department of Health and Social Security and the Personnel Office before becoming the Head of Crown and External Relations Division in the Chief Secretary's Office in 2001.
He spent four months as acting chief executive in the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry in 2006.
Mr Callister will be taking over the position from Colin Kniveton who has carried out the role for the last year, in addition to his permanent position as chief executive at DAFF.
