Gordon Clague 'happy' to be joining the board
A new commissioner in Patrick says he will be taking things ‘step-by-step’ following his appointment.
Gordon Clague was elected to the board, for a 14-month term, without contest alongside Leo Cussons.
It follows the resignation of three commissioners last year, including the chair, following a report by the former Tynwald Commissioner for Administration which found decisions made around the handling of a complaint had amounted to 'maladministration'.
Mr Clague says he believes retaining local authorities is vital:
Mr Cussons declined to be interviewed.
Hundreds of cars to be on display as Festival of Motoring returns
Slight increase in number registered unemployed
Faces, rude words and personal details all invalidate ballot papers
