A key section of the Isle of Man's new prison has been handed over for use.
Completion of the Works Department means contractors can now start the job of kitting-out the new facility at Jurby.
The next stage is to finish mechanical and electrical work - and install the security systems.
The prison is expected to be complete - and ready for the main handover - later this year.
Head of works Barry Clark says the project is progressing well:
Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Suspended sentence for 56-year-old in cannabis supply case
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
