Chance for inmates to learn trades
Inmates at the Isle of Man Prison could have the opportunity to learn skills in key labour-intensive trades.
Prisoners will have the chance to gain training and qualifications in different trades.
The initiative is still in its infancy and has just received funding but there are hopes it will be up and running by the end of autumn.
Prison governor, Leroy Bonnick, says it could boost the number of people working in trades locally:
Flu jab availability varying 'from pharmacy to pharmacy'
Police issue assurance amid concerns from Island's Jewish community
MHK calls for government to use more Manx food and drink
Bus strikes, minimum wage and meat board appointment among topics for House of Keys
