"Relief" is how library staff and the public describe the Manx Educational Foundation's takeover of the Island's mobile and family libraries.
The non-profit organization - which encourages the private sector to support education - has provided the life-line through egaming firm PokerStars, which is funding the project.
The three-year arrangement comes after the Government axed funding for the libraries earlier this year.
Kurt Roosen of the Foundation says it will be business as usual for borrowers:
Football fans urged to drink responsibly
Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
