Roads around the mountain course close at 5pm today (Saturday) for the first race and final practice session at the Manx Grand Prix.
The three-lap Newcomers race is first on the agenda and is scheduled to start at 5.30pm.
Over 50 riders entered the two classes to gain their first experience of road racing in the Isle of Man.
Arguably Wayne Hamilton and Scott Smyth go into the race as favourites.
Practice for the other classes will follow the Newcomers contest.
There will be commentary on this evening's racing on Manx Radio's AM 1368 service, with coverage starting at 5pm.
