DESC working on new behaviour policy
No children have been expelled from schools on the Isle of Man in the last three years.
That’s according to the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
In the House of Keys this week, Minister Daphne Caine confirmed four children had been suspended since 2021, something she said only happened in ‘exceptional circumstances’.
But she told her political colleagues her department is looking at imposing a new behaviour policy:
