Former TT winner explains situation in latest vlog
Former TT winner, Lee Johnston says he's not currently got any plans to return to road racing.
The rider has given an update on the situation during the latest episode of his vlog on YouTube.
Currently, he's competing in the British Supersport Championship with the Sencat by Swan Racing squad with a setup he says he's 'really enjoying'.
Whilst Johnston insists he's not retiring from road racing, there are multiple things that would have to happen if he was to make a comeback:
The last time Johnston raced on the Snaefell Mountain Course was during last year's Manx Grand Prix in which he claimed a second-placed finish in the Lightweight MGP race and also featured in the Classic Superbike class.
However, he hasn't contested the TT since 2022 and missed both the 2023 and 2024 meetings due to separate injuries.
Elsewhere, he currently resides 11th in the British Supersport standings this season after the first four rounds.
