No evidence of 'monkey dust' here say police

Anyone with concerns is urged to contact headquarters

Police are advising parents to talk to their children about a new drug called 'monkey dust'.

In recent days concerned parents have contacted Manx Radio about the illicit substance.

Despite its prevalence in the UK, the constabulary says there has been no seizure of it on the Isle of Man.

Monkey dust or MDPHP is a synthetic cathinone that is sold as an alternative to ecstasy and cocaine.

Anyone with concerns is urged to contact police on 631212.
