DoI Minister apologises over lack of new development in Douglas
The infrastructure minister says a detailed plan for improving bus facilities in Douglas is being worked on.
There are hopes for new short term solutions at either the Sea Terminal or current Lord Street stops, until a development on the Lord Street carpark is complete.
Tim Crookall's department was originally tasked with issuing a plan by the end of 2023 - but the deadline was missed.
Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher has called for that plan to be issued within six months to a year.
Minister Crookall told Manx Radio there's 'no excuses' for the delays:
"Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is not at risk of closure"
Douglas Council to sell social housing properties to the private market
New public sector rent system provides certainty for local authorities, says minister
