Government to consider options if further measures are brought in
The Chief Minister says there won't be any financial support available for hospitality businesses closing this weekend.
It follows government's announcement asking people to stay at home whilst contact tracing continues after two unexplained cases of Covid-19 were detected.
None of this afternoon's announcements are legally enforcable and ministers say they are relying on the sensibility of the 'Great Manx Public'.
Howard Quayle says if there's a need for further measures, government will look at options for supporting businesses:
Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
