Services in Scotland being reduced due to financial concerns

Loganair's told Manx Radio that services to and from the Isle of Man are unaffected after the airline announced reduced flights to several Scottish Islands.

It's due to financial concerns.

The airline does receive support to run some unprofitable Western Isles services but claims the vast majority of its network is unsupported.

Simon McNamara, Loganair's head of government and corporate affairs, told the BBC the company was operating in challenging times and the conflict in Iran had escalated fuel prices amid an industry-wide softening of demand.
