Appeal for 'anyone with ideas and energy' to attend meeting on event's future
Laxey Fair will not take place this year.
Organisers say the event is being 'rested' and the format reconsidered.
It usually takes place in the village, towards the end of June, but its been called off following 'lengthy deliberation' regarding its future.
The Laxey Fair Committee is appealing for volunteers, and parents of children at Laxey School, to join the organisation and offer ideas on how the fair can be relaunched next year.
It's appealing for anyone with 'ideas and energy' to attend a meeting at Garff Commissioners in early July.
