Rushen MHK Quintin Gill says the Isle of Man is already safe enough without putting more CCTV cameras up.
In the House of Keys yesterday, he asked Home Affairs Minister Martyn Quayle to reveal the Island's trouble hotspots.
Mr Quayle gave examples of places where he would like to see more CCTV coverage to deal with law-breakers.
But Mr Gill (pictured) says the examples given bear no comparison with lawless areas of the United Kingdom:
Onshore wind farm remains at pre-application stage
Test of emergency systems at gas sphere to take place this afternoon
Foodbank under pressure from falling donations and rising demand
