But should mitigation measures be mandatory?
Mitigation measures against Covid-19 will only be made mandatory if that's the will of the new administration.
That’s according to the director of public health.
Dr Henrietta Ewart has confirmed there are no plans to introduce a 'circuit break' style lockdown to tackle significant levels of absence in schools.
Instead the advice is to continue voluntary LFT tests, the wearing of face coverings and washing your hands.
Dr Ewart told Manx Radio things could be reviewed once the new chief minister and Council of Ministers is in place:
Suspected fire damage to skate park refuted by commissioners
Man had 'sweetie shop' of drugs disguised as a candle
NSC pool shut with immediate effectÂ
'Power of veto' might help get difficult decisions through, says chief minister
