Nobles extremely busy - but able to cope
Nobles Hospital was very busy at the weekend - but there was no shortage of beds.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson highlighted a possible shortage of hospital space over the weekend . . . something hospital management moved quickly to refute.
Former union leader Bernard Moffatt praised Mr Thompson for highlighting the issue and wrote to the Chief Minister to outline his concerns about emergency services being overstretched during TT fortnight.
However, Executive Director for Acute Healthcare, Michaela Morris, says the hospital was able to cope and there was never a case of being no beds available . . .
