Manx Care blames global issues with recruitment
The Isle of Man does not have a permanent dermatologist based at Noble’s Hospital.
That’s the admission from Manx Care which says it’s relying on a visiting expert from the UK instead.
A Manx Radio listener raised concerns about the service with the chief executive on Mannin Line.
She revealed her daughter was diagnosed with alopecia in February this year and saw a dermatologist in March.
However, since then further appointments have been repeatedly cancelled.
