Nominations will close later today (Tuesday, April 21st) ahead of next month’s House of Keys by-elections.
There will be contests in North and South Douglas on May the 21st following the elevation of Bill Henderson and David Cretney to the Legislative Council.
So far, three candidates have emerged in each constituency.
In North Douglas, businessman Ralph Peake, Douglas councillor David Ashford and Lib Van care representative Maire (Pron: MA-ree) Booth.
In South Douglas, former MHK and councillor Bill Malarkey, service manager Keith Fitton and ship captain Kurt Buchholz have declared.
