Commissioners want to recognise those making 'outstanding contribution' to village
Villages in Port St Mary are being asked to nominate 'unsung heroes' from the local community for an annual award.
Local commissioners want to recognise those who've made an 'outstanding contribution' to the village, such as those who assist elderly neighbours or volunteer at community events.
Nomination forms are available at the authority's offices at Port St Mary Town Hall, or via its website, and the deadline for submissions closes on 31 January.
Commissioners will choose the winner of the community recognition award, and presented them with a certificate, and a voucher.
