Facility now operating on reduced hours
The Northern Civic Amenity Site committee says it's still in talks with the Department of Infrastructure to find a solution for its future.
Chair Karl Brew says the changes to the site's operating hours will allow it to manage the resources it has within current financial constraints.
From this week the site will close on Sundays and Mondays.
Bride Commissioners recently stopped paying into the NCAS saying the reasons behind the decision were financial and also because the system is 'unfair'.
Mr Brew says he hopes residents will remain 'respectful' to staff.
