Despite being unsettled, the total rainfall in October was slightly below the long-term average for the month.
That's according to Ronaldsway Met Office, which has published its latest report.
The experts say 3 October, during Storm Amy, was the wettest day of the month, with 13.6mm logged at Ronaldsway, but there were significantly higher levels seen over central parts of the Island.
Across the month, 88mm was collected, which is below the 100mm average normally seen.
The mean 24-hour temperature came to 11.8°C which is slightly above the long-term average, mainly due to mild nights.
Alongside being the wettest day, the 3 October was the warmest, with a temperature of 17.2°C recorded.
There were no frosts.
The cloud kept the nights mild, but meant sunshine hours were well below normal, at just 50.8 hours, which is only half the average.
The best day was the 22nd with 7.5 hours.
The mean wind speed over the month was 13.4 knots which is close to the average.
Obviously, Storm Amy was the main wind event of the month, with gusts to 59 knots (68mph) recorded at Ronaldsway.
There were 4 days with gales in total, with another windy spell at the end of the month.
