The incident happened overnight on Tuesday, when tee box signs were uprooted and broken and benches moved.

Officers say they will be paying particular attention to the area after the vandalism, and are appealing for anybody with any information to get in touch.

The numbers to ring are 631212 for Police Headquarters, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line, on 0800 555 111.
