Family makes pilgrimage for tragic relative
Relatives of a former TT Marshal are gathering on the Island today (Sat) to give him 'the send-off he would have wanted'.
Mervyn Lincoln, who was originally from Norwich, died suddenly earlier this year aged 64.
He had moved to Douglas 30 years earlier to pursue his passion for motorbikes.
Mr Lincoln's family are bringing his ashes back for a 'final lap' of the TT course this afternoon, setting off at 2pm.
After the ride out, they will then privately scatter the ashes between two of his favourite places, Cronk-Y-Voddy and Joey's Corner.
His niece, Kirsty Lincoln, says Mervyn's friends - and any other well-wishers - are encouraged to come along:
