Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney has issued an invitation to local businesses to come and sell online.
He was speaking after the launch of Shopiom.com, a new directory of Manx retailers which has been set up by the United Kingdom firm Venda.
The scheme caused a political row when it was announced, as the DTI was accused of overlooking local IT firms which could have created the website.
Mr Cretney hopes all that is in the past and is looking forward to a good response from the local business community:
