Opening of Joey Dunlop apartments postponed.

Now taking place during Festival of Motorcycling

Plans for the official opening of three new Joey Dunlop apartments on Sunday (4 June) have been postponed.

The new flats near Braddan Bridge were expected to be unveiled by family members Michael, Gary, William and Linda Dunlop.

However with the first race of this year's TT now scheduled for the same time, organisers have put back the opening to the Festival of Motorcyling later in the summer.

Kevin Quirk of the Joey Dunlop Foundation says there's also been a slight delay to other events the same day.
