Shower expected to last until end of month
There's a good opportunity for Manx residents to spot the Lyrid meteor shower this week.
Local astronomer Howard Parkin of AstroManx says the Island is set for a bout of clear weather, perfect to view the shooting stars.
The shower is due to start being visible from tonight (Thursday) until a week on Saturday (25 April) - it's expected to peak around the 21 April.
Mr Parkin explains when, and where, to look:
Reopening of Martin Ward delayed following further safety checks
Major reservoir projects completed on time and on budget
Repair scheme an 'antidote to throwaway culture'
Douglas council seeking sites for future housing development
