Shower expected to last until end of month
There's a good opportunity for Manx residents to spot the Lyrid meteor shower this week.
Local astronomer Howard Parkin of AstroManx says the Island is set for a bout of clear weather, perfect to view the shooting stars.
The shower is due to start being visible from tonight (Thursday) until a week on Saturday (25 April) - it's expected to peak around the 21 April.
