Orchestra makes an overture to new members

One of the Island's largest orchestras is on the hunt for new recruits.

The Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra is performing its annual concert tonight (Sat 28th) and hopes it will attract some new faces.

The ensemble will play music by composers Dvorak, Beethoven and Elgar at St Ninian's Lower School from 7.30pm.

According to chairman Andrew Cole, maintaing an orchestra of around 60 people can be very challenging.
