Outgoing MP on IOM-UK relations

As talks to form a Labour-Liberal Democrat coalition are stepped up, a retiring MP is reiterating the benefit to the Isle of Man of a stable government in the United Kingdom.

Andrew Mackinlay stood down before last week’s general election, but not before helping the campaign to save the Reciprocal Health Agreement.

He says the Manx government must establish relationships with its UK counterparts, so it can have full discussions over matters which affect the Island:
