Race officials also expect overall visitor numbers to be higher than last year

Over 51,000 passengers passed through the Isle of Man Airport during this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

Figures released by event organisers say a total of 51,190 people went through the terminal during the racing fortnight.

That's in addition to a reported five percent rise in those travelling to Manx shores by sea during the TT period with more than 39,400 passengers recorded as of earlier this month.

Furthermore, race officials state they expect overall visitor numbers for this year's races 'to exceed the figure of 47,000 from 2024, which in itself was the highest number for over 15 years.'

They further add 'these early indicators suggest progress towards the TT's current objective of growing attendance to 50,000 visitors annually is within reach.'
