Three months added to Byrne's sentence
A jailed paedophile has had his sentence extended again, following another breach of a sexual offences prevention order.
Two separate searches of 40-year-old Andrew Mark Byrne's cell in October last year uncovered what were described in court as 'compilation newspapers'.
The court heard these items, made up of pages from different papers, contained images which breached the terms of his order.
Magistrates were filling in for Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse yesterday.
They added three months to Byrne's sentence, after he pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching his sexual offences prevention order.
A similar offence last year saw Byrne have two months added to his sentence.
