Paid parking returns at airport

New app system comes into force

Paid parking will come into force again next Tuesday (17 May) at Ronaldsway Airport.

Air travellers wishing to leave their vehicle will now have to use the cashless system.

Payment can be made either using a smart phone App or by card over the phone, by text message or online.

Anyone wishing to pay at the airport can do so inside the terminal building - one-hour free disc parking will also be available.

The new system replaces the barriers which have been broken for some time.

Anyone wishing to use the App needs to download RingGo which is available via Apple or Google Play.

They can then find a space for their vehicle, enter the location number where they are parked on their phone or device and pay for the required duration.

If extra-time is needed due to delayed flight etc then additional payment can be made online.

The rates remain the same as they did before the pandemic with a maximum charge of £60.
