Are you eligible?
Parents and guardians of children under 12 who do not, or did not, receive child benefit due to their family income levels are being reminded they may be eligible for National Insurance credits.
They help protect your future state pension entitlement.
NI credits for any period can't be claimed after you've reached state pension age.
Application forms can be found on the government website.
If you are uncertain about your eligibility, or have any questions, you can get help and support from the Child Benefit Team at childbenefit@gov.im or by calling them on 685107.
Alternatively, you can visit the social security office at Markwell House, Douglas, or Ramsey Town Hall.
