
There will be no more free parking in airport car parks from the start of 2015.
Short-term free parking, which had already been reduced from one hour to 30 minutes, will be scrapped, with a charge of £1 for the first hour in both long and short-stay car parks.
There will be a £2 charge for a second hour while first day rate charges will increase by 50p.
The changes will be introduced from Monday 5 January 2015.
Passengers can still be dropped off at the front of the terminal building without charge.
The Airport and Harbours Division says the changes will bring in an extra £75,000 a year, and are among measures the Department of Infrastructure needs to take to meet a £5 million budget reduction in the current financial year.
